Hello dear readers. I managed to complete my podcast of the Rachel Z Project; which ended up being Episode 8 and timed out well with my 8 year wedding anniversary. So this blog post is not going to be about everything that was covered in the episode; instead this is going to be more of an in-depth look into the symbolic meaning of numbers as well as a look into what triple number sightings could potentially mean.
Numerical Symbolism and the Pythagoreans
Plato said that; "Numbers are the highest degree of knowledge. It is knowledge itself."
Well if that isn't an epic description of numerical symbolism, I don't know what is. In my podcast I talk about how the Pythagoreans called the number 8 the "little holy number". Before I get into more of the symbolism, lets take a little step back and talk about who exactly the Pythagoreans were. They were essentially followers of a philosopher known as Pythagoras.
According to Wiki:
In antiquity, Pythagoras was credited with many mathematical and scientific discoveries, including the Pythagorean theorem, Pythagorean tuning, the five regular solids, the Theory of Proportions, the sphericity of the Earth, and the identity of the morning and evening stars as the planet Venus. It was said that he was the first man to call himself a philosopher ("lover of wisdom").
Interestingly enough, the followers of Pythagoras came into conflict with those who supported democracy. As a result, many of his schools ended up being burned and it is possible that Pythagoras himself was persecuted. Despite this, many of his teaching survive and thrive to this day. Plato himself was said to be influenced by the great teachings of Pythagoras.
Triple Numbers or Angel Number Sightings - what does it mean?
When doing a search online for triple numbers such as "333" or even "888", you can get a myriad of different meanings or rationales as to why one thing means one thing and another means another.
I like to think of myself as like... the opposite of atheist; where instead I believe that it is ALL real; it is just a matter of interpretation within your own reality bubble. So from a perspective of: "What do Triple Numbers mean?"
My reasoning is that this is a wink from the universe that you are in flow, you are on the right track, a little validation or a nudge. We are all living out our storylines here on this planet earth; and so any numerical revelation, attention to the triple number, is a pause, a breath to catch the magic of what you are already doing naturally!
